My wife and I own some Stuart Devlin pieces which we purchased in the 70s and 80s. There are still craftsmen around who have worked for/with Stuart. We recently had some regilding/repair work carried out by Reg Elliot at Elliot and Fitzpatrick 31 Hatton Garden 0207 404 5124

Hullo Chris,
Can you please help with advice on: where or how we can clean or re-gilt the pull-off mushroom caps to our Stuart Devlin "elves- at-work" ornaments. We have four of them. Sadly areas of the mushroom lids and their rims have become tarnished and we are nervous about trying to clean them ourselves. Perhaps there is a specialist who can deal with this problem?
We would really appreciate some advice.
With kind regards,
Richard and Judy Stibbon

I admire your site & know Stuart Devlin . I was recently shown a "crown" (made to be worn as such) made by Stuart when near Farringdon Station . I was asked to value it , as it is the only one he ever made . It is silver & silver gilt [no gemstones] lined with purple velvet . Do you have an opinion on it ?
Sincere regards
